This weekend, we were out in Southcourt, speaking with residents about the issues that matter to them.

We spoke with Alan, Aylesbury Dynamos coach, who has been promised over and over that our young people will have the facilities they need for a healthy, active pastime.

Sadly, none of these spaces have changing and toilet facilities, making training sessions and matches uncomfortable.

Having these facilities would allow our clubs to attract and retain players and help put grassroots sports on the map.

Vote LABOUR and we will ensure we can work with the clubs and the council to support lasting investment into the future health and wellbeing of our residents.

Our MP Laura Kyrke-Smith for Aylesbury held a meet and greet with members of the Cheddington Women's Institute so they could raise their concerns regarding gambling advertising.

"I have since met with the Minister for Gambling Baroness Fiona Twycross. I am pleased to see the Government is taking this issue seriously."

"We covered the Government's work on the school curriculum, the research funding that will be made available by the Gambling Levy, ongoing work to reduce gambling related harm through reforming regulation, as well as the Government’s introduction of online slot stake limits - £5 for over 25s and £2 for under 25s."

"We must address the underlying causes of homelessness, such as the availability of housing".

Our MP Laura Kyrke-Smith for Aylesbury speaking in the Commons on one of the most important issues affecting more elderly people than you'd expect, and more young people struggling to get on the housing ladder.

Labour have invested over £5m in Bucks to tackle homelessness.
This is why we must have LABOUR councillors in Aylesbury, so that we can work with Laura, to ensure that money goes to the right places in Aylesbury, and isn't wasted by this current council.

Plenty of room for homeless there never used to capacity

Our MP Laura Kyrke-Smith for Aylesbury had a productive meeting with the Roads Minister, Lilian Greenwood MP yesterday.

"I briefed the Minister on the terrible traffic in Aylesbury, the pollution levels, the need for the link roads and in particular the Eastern Link Road.

I thanked her for approving the full business case for SEALR - the South East Aylesbury Link Road.

I also briefed her on the high volume of traffic and speeding on the A418, raised to me by residents at the Wing Meet and Greet, and the requests I heard that we look again at a bypass. I will be following up with Bucks Council on these points."

Our MP Laura Kyrke-Smith for Aylesbury campaigned tirelessly in 2024 to earn your support; one of her 5 key priorities was cleaning up our water!

She has been a driving force for banning big bonuses for the bosses who let their companies poison our rivers, lakes and seas, whilst earning £billions and RAISING your bills at the same time.

Today, we can share that this Labour government will hit these billionaire CEOs where it hurts - their wallets.
This new law has been passed to challenge the greed and cruelty of those who seek to profit off of your ill health and fragile finances.

They will face CRIMINAL charges if they break the law.
